Henry Clay Dawson Jr., 68, of Fishers, IN departed this life on June 26, 2019. He was born on May 15, 1951, in Anderson, IN to Henry Clay Dawson Sr. and Frances Goens.
Henry lived most of his life in Gary, Indiana, where he graduated from Roosevelt High School Class of 1970. Henry also attended Electrical trade school and he worked as an electrician for 36 years as a proud member of IBEW local 697. He was a devoted Steelers fan and an avid traveler, he also loved spending time with family and friends.
Henry Dawson’s surviving family includes his son, Hashim C. Dawson of Washington D.C., daughter, Brandi Dawson-Cuthrell of Cleveland, Oh., son, Harlan C. (Staci Everett) Dawson of Avon, IN and daughter, Jakiah I. Dawson of Washington D.C.
Grandchildren: Cydney Cuthrell, Travis Cuthrell, Trevaris Cuthrell, Christian, and Claire Dawson and Former Spouse: Patricia Dawson. Niece and Nephews: Marcia Glazebrook, LB Reese Jr, Letitia “Sissy” Reese, Ronda Reese, Richard Reese, Darren (O’nee) Reese, Derrick Reese, Sterling Reese, Tiamia Reese and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Clay Dawson Sr. and Frances Goens, brother, Don A. Glazebrook, sister, Janet B. Reese, ex-wife, Janice Dawson, nephews Robin Reese, Adonis Glazebrook, and niece Kimberly (Reese) Jones.
Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 15th at 6 pm. 1845 W. 37th St., Gary. IN 46408
